Steve has been working in the appraisal industry for over a decade.  He comes from a background in Mathematics and Communications, with a bachelor's degree from Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore.

Steve began as an assistant in 1995, working under supervising appraiser Jonathan Deskin, general certified appraiser and licensed broker of over 35 years.  During that time, he developed knowledge of the northwest and central Oregon region, as well as southwest Washington.  Licensed in 1997, he continued as a staff appraiser and began specializing in the central Oregon region.

In 1999, Michelle and Steve opened the doors to their own appraisal company servicing northwest and central Oregon for 1-4 residential appraisal and review work.  In 2004, they founded Oleson Real Estate Appraisers, Inc.  Today Steve covers central Oregon, as well as the Portland metro area.  Steve is also licensed in Washington state and covers Clark and Cowlitz counties where he grew up.
